Chelsea are open to talks with interested clubs over a loan deal for Ben Chilwell, with the deal set to last up to 18 months.

There have also been reports of the Blues potentially sending Chilwell out on loan. With several clubs in England and Spain showing interest in the former Leicester City player.

TRB Football recently revealed that Chelsea are preparing to consider releasing Chilwell on loan for 18 months. And are ready to let interested teams negotiate from January.

The main factor is the huge salary and transfer fee that Chelsea has set, causing many clubs to not be ready to permanently recruit him.

The most likely solution is a loan deal, with the London club seeing an 18-month period as a win-win timeframe. With Chilwell currently contracted until mid-2027.

The report concludes that West Ham, Fulham and Brentford are all interested in Chilwell. Who is likely to enter talks with Chelsea when the January transfer window opens.

But Chilwell could alternatively have a chance to move abroad. Since Napoli remain interested in taking him to Italy and Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille. Who already have a few English players in their squad. Such as Mason Greenwood and Jonathan Rowe – are said to have shown fresh interest in taking him to France.
